- natural process without faciitator, natural behavior, i.e. law of self organization
- encourage personal responsibility
- icebreakers before OST (not necessary)
- come with 'intentions'
- theme/topic: complexity issues, situations... start with low risk, high impact
- r/s is formed 'naturally'
- not for tangible outcome
- use for problem solving and implementing already identified solutions
- bring in people who can sponsor/owners?
