I am the co-founder and president of Smith Weaver Smith, an Indianapolis-based firm that provides a full range of services to design, incubate, and launch social ventures--which we define as long-term collaborations that are socially beneficial and economically sustainable. Our clients are universities, foundations, regional planning commissions, economic development organizations, government units, corporations and others--always in circumstances where there are multiple collaborating partners across the sectors. We also built and operate The Strategy Studio in Indianapolis, an intentionally-built environment that supports collaborative planning among as many as 100 people. We are very interested in all aspects of giving as well as entrepreneurship among Not-For-Loss organizations.
