Consider partnering with Identity Commons (www.identitycommons.net)and creating a virtual entry point where friends, members and networks can register into a "commons" space (set up as a public entity - where the space is owned, operated and governed by the participating identities). There's a good chart explaining the value of I-names at:
[1] I-names
[2] Identity Commons
Also, you might want to look at how Phil encourages his bloggers to use type-ID at [www.gifthub.org]
This suggestion has more to do with generating interdependence around and with the concepts that support ethically opensource development. You might want to think about how the Network Newsblog might work beyond it's own identity - and look for ways to help unite individuals to stay connected over time - given changes of address, etc.

Is there room for people that want to play with you on this? The whole shebang seems MUCH larger than I saw it at the conference and it's feeling (from the outside, if there is an outside) like it's your show, or that you're making it happen with people from Interra who are already making their own stuff happen. Anyway, are you looking for people to work with you or are you looking only for suggestions or what exactly are you looking for (if anything)? --TedErnst
