Concensus is a form of decision making, Open Space is an activity - Reaching agreement on priorities by concensus can lead to OS activity on priorities - Invitation is the key - Theme is critical - Use a mind map to create the invitation - Ask what will success look like as part of the invitation - Start with low risk invitation to individual or small group - Use key words from mission statement of organization to frame invitation - Choose open inviting language to inspire desired response eg: energize our future - Refocus on the original reason people are involved and tell this story using the four principles of OS
