The Future of Our Children in Care

What makes a healthy and successful caregiver…?

Who’s invited?

We would like all caregivers, social workers and resource workers in our community to come together. Our purpose is simple and important.

In our community there are approximately; • 50 plus children in care • 3 social workers • 1 resource worker and • 20 caregivers

Why are we meeting?

All of us have questions and concerns. All are doing as much as possible. We all work together. But yet there seems to be little time and resources. The work of this session will provide ways to understand each other and work together.

Differences of opinion do exist, but it is out of this rich diversity that powerful new futures can be formed now.

Where there is agreement, we can move forward. Where there is difference we can seek understanding, common ground, and workable compromise.

None of this can happen without open, honest conversation and caring from each and every one of us.

Where and when do we meet?
