And now for something completely different, I heard through one of my wisest friends today a report from an old midwife friend of hers. <\/p>\n

We expect newborn babies to be pretty tuned out, eyes closed, dopey sleepy, oblivious. This midwife confirms that this is indeed how they used to<\/em> arrive. <\/p>\n
