She&#8217;s the creator of something called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.communityweaving.org\">Community Weaving<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.familynetwork.org\">Family Support Network<\/a>.  Taken together they are a wildly ambitious &#8212; and effective &#8212; application of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelherman.com\/cgi\/wiki.cgi?AssetBasedCommunityDevelopment\">Asset-Based Community Development<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cheryl and friends have created a site that allows anyone to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.familynetwork.org\/gnr.html\">register as a good neighbor<\/a> and add skills, abilities, interests, experiences and other contributions to a national &#8220;resource treasury.&#8221;  The treasury is searchable by geography, interest, skill, need, and many other ways &#8212; but only after you register.  <\/p>\n<p>I just registered myself in Chicago, and was able to find several others here to connect with.    One of them is even listed as a facilitator of Open Space.  I&#8217;d like to see the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagoconservationcorps.org\">C3 leaders<\/a> start registering here, too.
